In the remote location of El Nido, The Philippines

I took my very first under water images and crafted my very first lighting rig out of freshly cut bamboo from the jungle!! What beautiful simple times.

Here are some of the magical macro creatures I encountered, most of these images come from the canon s10 point and shoot with a very basic housing, one strobe, and one DIY focus light. If you look closely you can spot the Ornate Ghost Pipefish I'm shooting!
